Anti-Racism

“In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist”  Angela Davis.
Schools, as well as families, have an important role in fostering positive racial identities in our children. "Racism is a system of oppression that results from a combination of prejudice and power." Educators can make a difference in helping to break down barriers, teach about races and foster anti-racism. This page offers helpful tools and links for parents and educators working to promote anti-racism.
