Please start by reading the Eligibility & Requirements and seeking out Test Prep Assistance. To schedule your GED test, use the button to the right, then select "Find a testing center", choose a location and enter your zip code. For those who took their GED Tests in Regional Office of Education 40, we are happy to provide you with a duplicate of your transcript and/or certificate. To have one or both of these sent to you, print and complete the GED Request Form. then mail it, along with your payment in the form of a check or money order to ROE 40. IMPORTANT: Illinois GED records are located at (and Verifications, Transcripts and Certificates are issued by) the Regional Offices of Education* (ROE), so you must first determine the correct ROE to contact. Here's how: If the test was completed prior to January 1, 2014 (and was not taken on computer), contact the ROE* for the county where the test was taken. If the test was completed after December 31, 2013 (or was taken on computer in 2012/2013), contact the Reginal Office of Education for the county where you lived at the time of test completion.
