In case of inclement weather on the date your test is scheduled please check your email and phone messages, or call ahead to be sure that test center is open. In most cases, if the school district where our office is located is closed for bad weather, we will be as well! If WE cancel, Pearson Vue will be contacted, and in turn will contact you - if YOU cancel you will need to contact them.
Please remember to follow current COVID19 guidelines when visiting our offices.

NOTE: If you took the GED test in Macoupin County, please mail it to the Carlinville office, address on top of this page. If you took the GED test in Greene, Calhoun or Jersey County please send your request to the Jerseyville office, address on the top of this page.
IMPORTANT: Illinois GED records are located at (and Verifications, Transcripts and Certificates are issued by) the Regional Offices of Education* (ROE), so you must first determine the correct ROE to contact. Here's how:
If the test was completed prior to January 1, 2014 (and was not taken on computer), contact the ROE* for the county where the test was taken.
If the test was completed after December 31, 2013 (or was taken on computer in 2012/2013), contact the ROE* for the county where you lived at the time of test completion.
