Due to a federal grant given to Illinois, schools across the state are eligible to receive $25,000 if a school is expanding their school based mental health supports.
If you plan to hire a school counselor, social worker, or psychologist for the school year 2024-2025, you may qualify to receive $25,000 to offset the cost of their position.
You must meet the poverty threshold for a school in your district:
If you meet the poverty threshold, you are invited to complete the application. The application will take less than 10 minutes to complete.
The deadline to complete the application is February 23.

- 45% for non-elementary
