Carlinville Area Hospital Foundation
Carlinville Area Hospital Foundation recently announced it has established a scholarship program to aid post-high school adults to pursue a college education and career in the healthcare field. The Foundation will award up to five scholarships each year, each providing up to $5000 per student.D

Bob Price Memorial Scholarship
The Bob Price Memorial Scholarship is now available to graduating students living in Illinois State Police District 18, which includes Calhoun, Greene, Jersey, Macoupin and Montgomery counties. The $1000 scholarship will be awarded to qualifying students with a major in criminal justice, fire science and public safety, which were Price’s passions. Deadline to apply is March 31 and packets are available from high school guidance counselors or by contacting Ginger Barnes at 217-825-9175.
Illinois CPA Society
The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) is accepting scholarship applications for the 2019-20 academic year. More than 30 tuition and textbook scholarships of up to $4000 will be awarded. For more information visit icpas.org/scholarships . The application deadline is Monday, April 1.
Illinois Sheriffs’ Association
Macoupin County Sheriff Shawn Kahl will award a $500 scholarship aspart of a wider effort of the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association to award more than $50,000 in college scholarships to students pursuing higher education during the 2019-20 academic year.
Applications are now available at the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Office or on the ISA website. Students must complete the application and return all documentation to the sheriff’s office by March 15; entries must be postmarked by that date.
Illinois Valley Economic Development Corporation
IVEDC Community Services Block Grant Program will award scholarships of up to$1000 to five income-eligible residents of Macoupin, Jersey, Greene and Calhoun counties. Anyone interested in applying for the scholarships should contact the IVEDC office in their county. Applications and further information are available fro the county’s CSBG outreach staff.
Macoupin County Agriculture Education Foundation
The Macoupin County Agriculture Education Foundation is offering one $1500 scholarship, one $1000 scholarship and seven $500 scholarships for the upcoming school year to students wishing to pursue agriculture majors. Applications are available through high school counselors, ag instructors, or the Macoupin County Farm Bureau. All applications must be submitted to the Farm Bureau office by March 22, 2019.
St Francis Hospital Auxiliary
The HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary offers three scholarship awards to students whose principal residences are in Montgomery or Macoupin counties. Applications for the scholarships are available at https://stfrancis-litchfield.org/Volunteer/Auxiliary-Scholarship-(1)
Deadline for submitting application and all necessary paperwork is Monday, April 15.
