JumpStart is Baaack!  9/6/22

In our life, we are constantly moving.
As I’ve been thinking about this, there are three ways you can be moving: toward, away from, or through. We’ll cover each of these in the next 3 weeks.
As you move away from something or someone, what is the root cause of your movement? And remembering from last year, when I talked about how you can control two things: how your emotionally react (judgement, denial, etc.), and how you physically react (what you say or do) to circumstances, how tethered are you to this movement?
  1. Fear: Are you angry, afraid, frustrated? .
  2. Time: Sometimes as connections wither, we drift away.
  3. External Circumstances: Maybe the other person let go first. Maybe you moved to a new location. Maybe a part of your life was closed by someone else.
This week, try this: Each time you move, be aware of it. Even if it’s finally getting a restroom break, you’re moving toward the bathroom and away from discomfort. What can you intentionally move away from this year? What can you choose to let go of?
What other reasons are there for moving away from something or someone? Let me know!
Quote of the Week:  "You are allowed to let go of all those that do not set you free anymore." (Dhiman)
